Hey, Portland folks! I went and got myself in a band again—this one's called Pictures of Pictures—and we're playing a show on Friday the 23rd at The Waypost on N Williams. Show is at 8, we're headlining at 10. I even made a poster!
I'll be appearing as a guest on So That Happened, a live talk show at ImprovBoston, Thursday, January 28th at 9:30pm. I have 10 free tickets I can offer to MeFites, so if you're a relatively solid yes, please send me (via MeMail or the email in my profile) an email address under which you can be registered for the guest list. I went and saw this show a couple months ago, and it was lots of fun, but it's always nice to have friendly faces in the crowd, so I hope you can join me.

That means that this Friday's installment, Meet The Lady Is Watching You! (a tribute to stalker cinema) is your last chance to catch erstwhile mefite hermitosis's lady-centric variety show, which grew out of a MeFi Project back in 2010 and has since welcomed guests such as Amy Sedaris, Nellie McKay, and Beth Grant. My band Pueblo is playing at the Black Cat in DC! With a band I love, Dolfish. The live setup is a duo with me and a powerful drummer - who I've been playing with for a good quarter of my life. We've got quite a few new songs and such - some of which I've been posting on Metafilter Music and some others which are online - but it'll be great! Aaand, I'll buy you a drink if you can make it!
