PyCon North America 2019 will be May 1-9 in Cleveland, Ohio, USA. Any other MeFites coming? Want to grab a beverage together somewhere in there?
Note that the conference itself is close to selling out of registrations -- register soon if you want a ticket and you haven't got one yet!
The arts festival I'm running, with several plays plus a short video and some live music, will be the evening of Friday, May 3rd.
People attending PyCon: how about we try to grab a coffee together on Sunday morning May 5th around 11am, in the expo hall?

(also, if you haven't gone before; pycon is downtown and there's plenty of restaurants and bars within a 15 minute walk from the convention center (although the selection of places within a 5 minute walk is minimal).

Another local non-PyCon-attendee here, totally up for any Meetup in theory. A highly erratic work schedule means that I'll have to count as a "maybe" until we're much closer to the dates, though.

So it sounds like there are a bunch of you who might like to see each other sometime soon! If y'all want to do something when I swing by in May, cool; in addition to that, may I suggest someone local propose a "come do this thing with me" (e.g., watch a play, knit, sing karaoke, play board games) activity sometime in Feb or March.

Surprise! It’s 6th grade open house from 7-8. I think my son was hoping we wouldn’t find out. I’ll be leaving Key Tower at 5, if anyone’s up for an earlier drink though! Like I should be moving on at 6, but either Ontario St Cafe or even the stupid bar at the Marriott. Bonus: Fancy Business-dress Chesty!

That was great fun, thanks for organizing this brainwane. (We eventually wound up getting drinks in the penthouse bar of the downtown Hilton with a fantastic view of the lake and a surprise guest appearance by ChrisR. And a cannolo with glitter chocolate chips.)
