It’s mere weeks to CONvergence 2015. Last year’s meetup was fun. Let’s do it again! Saturday morning from 10:30–11:30 a.m. (or, you know, later if folks are feeling it), in the Garden Court.
I’ll claim a table. I’ll have a lavender mohawk (cosplaying this guy), so I should be easy to spot.

For those unfamiliar: CONvergence is an annual science fiction convention in the Twin Cities. Membership is required to attend CON, so I’m afraid that means folks can’t pop in just for the meetup without registering (and paying) for the full four days.

The CVG schedule is up, although it’s still incomplete (as of right now, I don’t see anything from Connie’s Space Lounge or Cinema Rex). The mid-afternoon meetup in ConSuite worked well last year, though we could do an evening instead— hang out in a relatively quiet corner of SpLounge, or grab a slice of toast and occupy a table or two in the garden court.

Friday night's out for me because my hubs and I have tickets to the Weird Al concert at Mystic Lake. I'm also on a TON of panels this year, so depending on what day and time, I won't be able to make it.

Yes. Maybe the thing to do is schedule a time when we can all go through our schedules and set a time. Maybe a tool like Doodle.com could help. Otherwise, I suppose I should get that mefi t-shirt I've been eyeing for years.

Okay, I set up a schedule poll in Doodle. I just used the panel times, since those seem like the most likely conflicts.

I'll be there basically 24/7, so I don't really care when it happens. Will almost certainly be there.

Right now, Saturday morning seems the most promising. If that sounds bad for you, fill out the Doodle! Otherwise, I’ll go ahead and confirm the date.
