2388 Massachusetts Avenue, Cambridge, MA, USA (Map & Directions)
It's the first Geeks Who Drink trivia event of the new year. Wednesday, 7:30pm, Joe Sent Me. You know the rest!
Too sleepy to think of anything clever to say here.
Yeah, we were just thinking we weren't much interested in another JSM dinner, so that would be great. We can be there by 6:15, so we can get done and get tables next door in time.

I'll need to consult with my better half, but we're a tentative yes for both Chinese food and trivia.

Can't make Chinese food, and I'm miffed about it.

I could be convinced into Chinese food. Where do y'all usually do, The Restaurant Changsho or something?

Qingdao Garden, which is next door. ("Usually" is only once in this case, but I was assuming that's what we had in mind.)

We just had Qingdao Garden this weekend, so I will probably just show up for the trivia. I can try to get there a little early and stake out some tables if I need to.

"The Restaurant Changsho" makes me laugh every time I pass it. Is The Restaurant Changsho good? Do waiters refer to themselves as "The Waiter, Joe" and the like?

The restaurant Changso was nice enough to my memory - good for large groups because it is family style and they have lazy susans. I don't really remember the food, which is probably a plus in the case of unknown Chinese food.
(And yes, I meant Qingdao Garden.)

I could probably do both the Chinese food and the trivia, but it depends on how fast I can get from work back home and then from home down to Cambridge. If I can't make it for the Chinese food, I'll be there for trivia. I might bring a couple of friends along, but it depends on what they plan to do that night.

Can't attend this one but looking forward to others. I was wondering what happened after the abrupt closure of the old place!

We had to eat a few of the weaker members, but a hierarchy was established fairly quickly.

Now we know what was in the "ham" you served us last month!

Are those the only two choices? (I think it's actually a door or two down, so you probably wouldn't have noticed it before.)

It is not new. It is probably the best Chinese food in Cambridge.

I think I might be able to make trivia, but I am going to have to miss out on amazing Northern-style beef with hot peppers.

My wife's coming, too, but she's playing on a team with her friends so sharpen the knives.

I may get there in time for Qingdao, but am not betting on it, as I'm just leaving now. See you all at Joe Sent Me, if not at Qingdao Garden!

So sorry to miss it; hope you all crushed the competition! (And that that caused no undue marital discord).
