I am going to be in New York. Does anybody want to New York with me. Thanks New York. edit: FRIDAY AUGUST 22ND edit2: KEG AND LANTERN IN GREENPOINT, 6pm
I'm thinking around 6 or so? I have to get together with my kindly CouchSurfing host at 11pm and would love to pass the time with some rockin' mefites. I'll be arriving in Manhattan and eventually going to Brooklyn so I imagine either of those would be fine. I like to drink, eat, walk, you know, things of that nature that involve marshalling organs to complete activities.

Oops, sorry, I'm LOLing now at how vague this is because for some reason I thought the submit form had asked me what date I was talking about?? This would be tomorrow, Friday the 22nd, but I'm wondering if at this point it's getting close to too late.

What kinda place would you be interested in? Fancy or not-so-fancy? Drinks and/or food? I have Many Opinions so if you have preferences I can probably suggest something that fits 'em.

definitely not fancy, but food and/or drinks are always swell. I tend to think a more casual, less sitdowny atmosphere is better for meetups, but! who knows. I'm vegetarian but am chill anywhere except for like Meaty's Meat Bar of Just Meat Things.

hi, an animate objects! I generally just yell "metafilter" at passersby until one of them looks at me a little less funny than the others... Kidding, kind of. I will be in a black dress and I will keep an eye out for anyone who looks a bit lost. I will also update the thread as to where we are sitting (don't think threeants can so I designate myself).
