Mefites at Vidcon/Downtown Disney

1530 Disneyland Drive, Anne Geddes Downtown Disney, Anaheim, CA, USA (Map & Directions)
I've just registered for VidCon, a convention for online video/Youtube creators and enthusiasts taking place in Anaheim CA from June 26 to 28, and will be there an extra day. It's my first time and I'm wondering if there are any other Mefites going.
After some discussion I think the best place will the evening of June 29 at the House of Blues in Downtown Disney, which is accessible free of charge. That said, if you are going to Vidcon, let me know!
I am not going to VidCon, but if there's a meetup happening and divabat's going to be there, I'll drive down to Anaheim. It's only about 25 minutes without traffic.

The Vidcon agenda hasn't been fully settled yet so I don't know what the schedule is, but I will be there an extra day for Disney Day and could probably meet in the evening then (I don't know Anaheim very well).

I am ALL about Downtown Disney. MeFi meetup at Downtown Disney would be awesome (just FYI, downtown Disney doesn't cost anything to wander in - but there are many fun things to acquire if you happen to be spending your dollars).

ooo that could be fun. Any recs for places? Voodoo Lounge, Jazz Kitchen, and Crossroads all sound good.

House of Blues has consistently good food/drinks AFAIC from previous visits. I'm not at all familiar with the Jazz Kitchen, but I'm up for either one.

Oof. I may have finally hit the limit of my Carless in LA experiment but if I can figure out a way down to the OC I'll come!

(I no longer live in OC, so I won't be coming, but I stepped in here to see why "Anaheim" got listed as a meet-up place. Thought I'd mention that the Jazz Kitchen has really good food, and an amazing Bloody Mary menu: alcoholic or non-alcoholic, with design-your-own from a list of 20+ ingredients, or pick from a list of already designed mixes. There's also the lobby of the Grand Californian hotel, a re-creation of the lobby of a Yosemite-style grand hotel that you should check out - it's gorgeous. Have fun!)

Sophie1, I'm in Santa Monica. I can get to the Expo line in Culver City, which means I can probably meet you almost anywhere to go down there. Options for getting all the way home late in the evening are more limited so I'll check back once the plans are solidified. Gas or drinks on me!

June 29th somewhere in Downtown Disney works best (since I'm already going to be in the vicinity). Jazz Kitchen sounds doable!

changed it from Jazz Kitchen to House of Blues since a Yelp review mentioned that trying to get a big bunch of people in the Jazz Kitchen at night would be tricky!

Woo freaking hoo. Room 641-A I'm up for coming to Santa Monica on my way down - we'll figure things out closer to the date. Also, I don't drink so I'm perfectly fine with being designated driver.
