Wood for Sheep - The Unauthorized Settlers Cookbook

i love this description: In addition to hextastic homages to The Settlers of Catan, this cookbook includes over 100 recipes tailored to fit nearly any diet. There are over 80 recipes for vegetarians, more than 60 for people with Celiac disease or gluten intolerance, 50 for people with milk allergies or lactose intolerance, over 30 for vegans and nearly 30 for low carb primal dieters. If that’s not nerdy enough for you, nearly all the recipes are also both kosher and halal.

Get your friends together for a game night. No matter how weird they are, you really can have them all under one roof for one meal while you play one game.

Hooray for Hanukkah! We've got additional base cards now, so we can have multiple Dominion games going at once! (Also, we have one of your Alchemist cards.)

And that cookbook sounds amazing.

I now have both Moby Dick, or The Card Game (which from a couple of test plays actually moves quicker than the box says that it does and gets really nail biting at the end) and Cards Against Humanity with all four expansions. I will be bringing both.

I'd love to give Moby Dick a go. I held off form the KS because I didn't think the gameplay looked fun, but it was hard because the cards looked so purty.

Are people still planning to come despite the weather?

When I wrote that comment, there was lots of wind and lots of wet snow. It seems like the wind has died down some, and the snow looks like the drier kind now.

Won't be there til 3 probably, though. +1 may be more punctual.

By the way, the apartment might not be as neat as it normally is—Josh is out of town, and it's just taking a long time for me to get everything shipshape by myself.

Don't stress out about that Ocherdraco, we come for the games. Streets here in uptown manhattan are fairly clear.

Thanks!

FYI: The least outdoor intensive way of getting to my place is to take the Q to Church Ave, then the B35 bus to Ocean Parkway. The bus stop is right outside the subway station, so you can wait inside until the bus comes, and then when you get off the bus at Ocean Parkway, You just have to cross Church Avenue and E 7th Street to get on my block.

Yay, that was fun! Games played were Love Letter, Gingkopolis, Cards Against Humanity, Moby Dick, Dominion (Guilds, Intrigue, Seaside, Main Set), and Ex Libris.
