Oakland meetup?

Since I just came back, am curious who's still around in Oakland. What about an Oakland meetup in September or October? Maybe we could all meetup at First Friday and grab some food/watch the festivities?

Actually, this might be a good week for a Mission meetup. Burning Man starts tomorrow, and runs for a week - this means that we can visit places that are usually too crowded.

Hmm, Mission doesn't work for me this week, but I say set it up anyways! The more meetups, the better. Looking at the calendar, I don't see many Oakland meetups lately, and I'd like to change that!

How about Saturday afternoon, hanging out in Delores Park and moving along for drinks at Zeitgeist or possibly the Sycamore?

Yeah, it would be nice to keep Oakland meetups IN Oakland. I know there are a lot of folks who live here, and if they're anything like me, they like to stay on the east side. I've never been to a meetup but might be interested. Can I throw out the Heart & Dagger Saloon on Lakeshore? It's pretty central, and there are lots of food options around to bring back to the bar. DOG FRIENDLY.
