I'll be visiting Seattle!
Word on the street (thanks lattiboy!) is that Cactus on Alki has a very good happy hour from 3-6. Food is really great and $5 margaritas are very boozy. 3PM Sunday @ Cactus on Alki sound good to people?
I am being hosted by a non-mefite, and I'll be dragging him along. Me-mail is welcome if you can't join the meetup but want to meet me anyway.
I say go for it and push for a full meet-up: Seattle is very good at those.

9-27: Feedback Lounge Soundgarden record release party. Too loud for a meet-up, but if you like Soundgarden, that would be the place.

It should be noted I have a history of proposing these and then showing up at about 50% of them. This is so ridiculously close to me that I am leaning more towards 51%.

Yeah, tell us of the excitement we missed. (If none, make something up!) I couldn't make it at 3 and came by pretty late in hopes of catching the tail end of the meetup but I didn't see anybody mefilike in Cactus or on the beach walk.
