Hi Portland! I will be visiting your lovely city June 2-4, and I had a lot of fun meeting some of you the last time.
My schedule isn't quite as forgiving this time around - it's a Sunday-Tuesday trip, and I leave Tuesday evening, so I really only have the Sunday and the Monday. Of the two, I have the most flexibility on Sunday; my plane lands at about 1:30, and I figure I should be checked in and looking for something to do by about 3ish. I am under orders from my wife to bring her back a Voodoo Donuts hoody ("the magic is in the hole"), but past that, I'm pretty open. At least until the conference starts on Monday.
I'll be staying downtown, at the Hilton. Would prefer to meet somewhere I can either walk or easily get to via transit.
Is dinner with some of you a possibility? Or even a casual beer or two?

Alternatively, a ~20 minute ride on the 9 Bus (less than 2 blocks from the Hilton) takes you right to Hopworks, which has good food and good beer. I'm sure there are other good pubs within that range as well, that's just the second one I thought of that we haven't been to recently.

Looks like Tugboat might be closed on Sundays, so Hopworks looks pretty good - unless we want to try for Monday night?

Green Dragon is always a reliable choice and only 10 minutes away from your hotel on the 15 bus.

4pm? That's still early enough to get one of the outside tables in the afternoon shade but late enough for the sun to be over the yardarm, so to speak.
