There ought to be a dramatic reunion with the quizmaster. "We've been seeing other trivia nights... but we've come to realize you're the only one. Take us back, please! We'll never stray again!"

I'll be slaving away in a corn field in Indiana, but I'll be with you in sunburnt spirit.

I showed up two weeks ago, having not read the email - and it was Packed! The quizmaster was kind about saying he thought a table was opening up back by the bar so our team could play. I didn't have the heart to tell him (once I'd checked the irl page) that the taters had... strayed. I look forward to a report from the wandering taters!

Tonight's themes include:

-Gin and Jews
-Going for the Gold

-Orcs, Orchids and Orchestras
-Who Won the Fight?

I'm guessing the first one is maybe - is this a mixed drink or a real (Jewish) person? Harvey Wallbanger, here we come!

We will all be wearing beanies and novelty foam fingers. Horace also usually wears his blue Metafilter shirt.

I, however, will be wearing a novelty foam finger as a beanie.

Feeling a bit under the weather, myself. I hope you retake the home field in triumph.

Horace and I are here. So far it's deserted, so we grabbed a double table up front by the stage.

Recap. Survey Says was very lucky to eke out the one-point win after our abysmal performance on the Olympics round, but we made it up with four different near-perfect rounds.
