Turns out I have a free day and will be downtown in the late morning-early afternoon.

Might be able to make it. We've got a vet appointment in the slightly earlier morning, so I'll probably be covered in cat hair from cat wrangling.

I was thinking Violetta at SW Park and Taylor. It's easy to get to, and so long as we have decent weather we can sit outside.

@ ansate - how long are you planning to be in town? We could possibly do a proper meetup one evening or on the weekend.

Violetta looks great, and a reasonable walk for us.

Thanks for thinking of a "proper" meetup, but I'm leaving Wednesday evening and we're pretty booked up. I always keep an eye open for them when I'm out here though!

I haven't been to Violetta before, but that burger picture looks delicious. What time are you thinking? 12:45 is the usual and should work fine for me, barring unforseen delays at the vet.

Ok. I guess the rest of us look like... internet people. Cortex got his hair cut off and his giant donut taken away a few months ago, so that doesn't work anymore. I did get covered in cat hair at the vet (I guess cats stress-shed) so I'll see if I can find one of my metafilter t-shirts to change into.
