Hey! No posting in this thread. (Kidding.)

Welcome! We usually sit at a row of tables near the stage upstairs, assuming they haven't moved it to another floor for some reason. In honor of the lovely weather, I will be wearing my light spring blue sweater, or if it gets too warm, a blue tshirt.

Advance categories:
Mystery Round!
Band Name Band Name
Say When: Food Groups
The Cat's In the Dreidel and the Silver Spoon
Golden Age of Suck

I have to think "Band Name Band Name" is going to be about names in the format of Duran Duran, The The, Mister Mister, etc. Can anybody think of others?

Talk Talk
Lisa Lisa

Possibly not the correct format, but a few that come to mind:

The Go Gos.
Toni Toni Toni
The Yeah Yeah Yeahs
Was (not was)

Frou Frou. (that song from Garden State)
The Ting Tings. (That song from the Apple commercial)

Mighty Mighty Bosstones is close...so is Ra Ra Riot, by that logic.

Alternatively, it could be song names that are also the name of a band. I'm not coming up with anything obvious off the top of my head, but certainly someone has a song called "Wings" or "Simple Plan" or "Stars". But I think the Duran Duran method is a better theme.

(It'd be fun to make that Band Name - Different Band Name playlist as a mix tape, though, just to mess with people. "Hey, I love T Rex! Wait, what's this song about a dinosaur?"

Agg! I was just coming in to say I can't make it after all.

We'll just have to plan another hike...

Have fun, folks. Go taters!

What a match! High stakes brinksmanship in the Say When round, an odd team photo, and a Taters sweep for what Ryan described as "the umpteenth time". Great work everybody!
