3rd of march has just been claimed for me by a friend's 30th birthday. 10th Mar or 25th Feb are my options now.

I might be travelling from Durham to Chester the weekend of the 10th. I suppose that might put me in Manchester at some point.

OK, March 10th looks like the favourite option here. Let's nail that one to the wall and start picking locations.
Seems there's a significant minority saying Marble has been done to death. Rustle up some other suggestions and let's see how they fly :)

Port St. is also good, and just down the road. I suspect Slyrabbit's critique of the Marble is in reference to the Marble at 57 Thomas St, which is dangerously close to our Manchester office. The Arch, a little out of town, is a past favourite, but we could spice it up with some action at the Glamorous Chinese restaurant, above the car park at Wing Yip just over the way.

Sorry just got scheduled for an impromptu Stag day that weekend. My GF was heading to the Hen do, and I just got notice that I was invited to the Stag do.

We meeph-eye-tees had a fine time drinking lots of booze in a delightful cement beer garden. After this, I wound up in a lock-in on my own and subsequently suffered a number of emetic episodes.
