I noticed the MeFi Cookie Swap is up on MetaTalk but I was thinking instead of tediously and expensively mailing cookies to each other, maybe we should try to meet up in person instead!
I’m going to invite some other friends too, but you all are welcome to come. I’ll make some mulled wine and have a cheese platter or some kind of savory snacks so we don’t all die of sugar overload.

Funny enough I just got my grandma's sugar cookie recipe from my aunt and some copper classic cookie cutters and assuming I don't screw them up this could be fun.

I'd be down! I've been dipping my toe into veganism (mostly for at-home/my own kitchen) so will probably make some vegan cookies. Otherwise, I'm still feeling loose enough in my approach to eat non-vegan stuff outside my house.

Cardamom snickerdoodles sound amazing!
I once had a dream that Kevin Smith gave me a cookie, and it was so good that I tried to recreate it in real life. It sounds kind of similar!

I'm in! I'll probably bring a vegan snack (spiced nuts, perhaps?) to share as well as some vegan cooks.
