Heya - I've just relocated to the area and see that the last MeFiIRL in this area was in 2017! So ...
I thought I'd propose a meetup!
After preliminary discussion, seems like it would be good to start at a restaurant. The one I've suggested seems to have options for most diners but please speak up if you have another suggestion!
We can move to a nearby billiards place afterward, for those who are interested. (The House of Billiards has a great beer selection. Also a great jukebox.)

I have a very intense work schedule for the next monthish, and even on the weekends I may be unreliable, but I am interested and will keep an eye on what plans come together.

I've got some weekend commitments coming up, but I'm in West LA and would be up for attending during the week, or on the weekend if I'm free.

Although I'm not into billiards, I'm into having a bite to eat and meeting local Mefites. :)

What do you all think about a Sunday in October? Looking at October 13 or 20. We could move to a nearby restaurant (maybe Earth Wind & Flour?) for dinner if billiards are not really exciting to folks.

Either of those Sundays works for me. I've never been to Earth Wind & Flour, but I'm happy to give it a try.

Los Angeles has MeFi meetups so infrequently (let alone on the Westside) that I would be a fool to pass this up. I'm in.

I might be up for this, although I'm only in Santa Monica on weekdays generally for work. This gives me a few weeks to decide how I want to deal with my social anxiety, wheeeeee
