If everybody else jumped off a waffle cone bridge into a milkshake river with ice cream glaciers, would you too? Ice Cream Social at 50 Licks, Burnside location!!!
Fifty Licks is open until from noon until 11 or 12. Let's meet up at 2pm on Sunday, 7/29! They have a vegan flavor I really like!
Dates that could work:
Friday 7/13 evening
Friday 7/20 evening
Friday 7/27 evening
Saturday 7/28 or Sunday 7/29 afternoon or evening
I don't think I've ever been inside, but I'm told there may be enough space to meet up! If it's too packed, as a back up plan I suppose we could meet up, pick out our ice creams, and then walk or drive our ice cream over to Laurelhurst Park or Lone Fir Cemetery.

i would worry about the 20th not getting people because of the birthday bash on the 21st, but logistically it is the best choice for my appetite. It's the first date listed we're back in town and so I will still have a bike touring appetite. Jump into a milkshake river? I could EAT that river. All dates past then work for me, too.

That sounds great! We can't make the 20th but any of the other dates should be fine.

Pretty sure we can make the 29th since it’s after weddings and Magic and Pokémon prereleases.
Plus, they have non-dairy options that I can actually eat!

Ok, tentatively I'm thinking the afternoon of the 29th, does that work for people? And you'd better believe I'm not calling an ice cream meetup where there aren't a few dairy-free options! Although all their cow milk stuff sounds really delicious as well, just not great for me.

Works for me! How many licks does it REALLY take to get to the center of an icecream cone?

Hurray! I was sad because I couldn't make the Metafilter Birthday Party, but this weekend works great! Plus ice cream!

We're running a little slow, should be there in 20 minutes or so. I'll be the tall longhair dude in a geometric XOXO t-shirt; Secretariat's in a purple dress.
