As everybody who wrote postcards to voters until their hands cramped last month, the Illinois Primary is March 20th. Let's get together and discuss any questions we might have about the candidates and where our loyalties lie. Also BRUNCH!
The Second Saturday Second City Stand-Up Sanity Check Committee has been meeting (mostly) monthly since the LAST election Chicago had to bring like-minded folks together for action, reactions, relaxin', and outrage.

We'll be talking about each of the different roles on the ballots (understanding that we're coming from all over) and offering up any opinions about certain candidates if you ask for them. But it's a lot more friendly than that sounds. We'll also be talking JUDGES!

If you've got any other specific questions or topics you'd like to discuss, let me know.

I might finally make it this time, the dark gods of the temple of my body willing.

Sorry everyone, I'm out of town this weekend.

For those who are curious from our discussion on Saturday, my assumption is officially correct: if a voter misspells the name of a valid write-in candidate, the Judge can accept it as long as the Judge can clearly tell who the voter meant.

And now, as not-a-Judge, I recommend that you should write-in a vote for Cam Davis for the Bradford vacancy of the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District.
