Tue November 21 at 8:00 PM, George and Dragon
206 N 36th St, Seattle, WA, USA (Map & Directions)
Ok, we are all back from college for Thanksgiving, sleeping on an air mattress in our father's den surrounded by Bill Cosby books on fatherhood and Ronald Reagan posters. You can't find decent whiskey at home, so come join the Seattle MeFi juggernaut Manifest Destiny's Child for the usual evening of Pub Quiz Trivia to the Death at the George and Dragon.
I am bringing my brother in law, Doc Hollywood, so questions about celebrity drug addiction, fast German cars, and famous cricket matches are in the bag.

No really, newbies extremely welcome.

Monday, Slarty? I feel like you may have mis-set the date.

In any case, just being sure: That's next week (Tuesday Nov 28), not tonight?

Gah! This interface sucks. I meant tonight. Tonight’s the night.

Feck. Wish I could, but we'll be halfway to Portland by then. Next week, hopefully?

All right. I will bring the nineteenth-century women's literature and an over-nice interpretation of geomorphology questions! Maybe I will briefly review Rivers of the World sometime today, they sure come up a lot.

I wish I could, but I have to transport my husband and some the more fragile bits of his drum kit somewhere this evening, and I don't think the timing will work. Smash this flat for me, ok?

Well dang, I must have just missed you. I'd have invited everyone over to play Timeline.

I want to state for the record that I am down for Timeline any time you want to bring it on. I know you'll kick my ass, but it'll be fun and educational.
