Want to see the most famous lighting display in the nation? Then come to the historic Mission Inn in Riverside for the Festival Of Lights!
Calling all MeFites of the Southern Californian persuasion! The time of year has arrived for the Festival Of Lights at the historic Mission Inn of Riverside. My roomies last year told me it's been rated as the top Christmas display in the nation, so it has to be true, right? ;) Come celebrate quonsmas in style with the marvelous muggle decorations!

While the celebration is going on every night until the new year, I would love to meet y'all in the evening on the first Thursday, December 1st when they also have artwalk going on. Ideal time would be 6 or 7pm. Otherwise, I'll be headed on the Friday, December 9th. Open to another date if weekdays are particularly tough. Let's see who my people are in the area (I'm looking at you, Inland Empire inhabitant!).

Thursdays are hard with a moogle (2.5 year old) but weekend might be awesome?

There's no way I would make it from the beach to Riverside by 7pm on a Friday night. But carry on! It really does live up to the hype.
