let's help the Greater Chicago Food Depository get food repacked so it's easier for them to distribute to hungry people.
If you're coming, you have to tell the Greater Chicago Food Depository.

Go to this link and navigate to the 1/7/2017 date, and select the 11:30 - 1:30 section. You'll have to create a volunteer account with them to register.

If you need a ride, post below and we'll make it happen.

I registered. It looks like this is possible but cumbersome on public transit for me, so if I'm able to ride with anyone, I'd really appreciate it.

Oh wow, spots fill up fast! I think there were 40+ when I signed up two days ago. I just checked again now and it's down to 11. So if you wanted to do this but haven't signed up yet, probably don't wait on it much longer.

This depends on work travel for me so I may not know for a while. Great idea though.

I can also take transit partway to meet up with people who are driving! But I'm in the Lincoln Square/Albany Park area if anyone happens to be driving from or beyond my part of town and could pick me up.

It was fine without jackets. much warmer and some of us would have broken into a sweat. Our job was pretty straight forward manual labor wise. eamondaly might be sore since he did the most lifting. crosh-onastick mentioned her knees might feel standing on the concrete today.

Next one is going to be on March 4
