Back in DC!

I'll be back in DC the week of June 6 - who'd like to grab dinner or a drink?
Basically the same story as last time - I'll be staying in Arlington, working near Dupont Circle, willing to travel almost anywhere as long as it's not too onerous to get back to my hotel. If anyone's got a burning desire for particular food I'm game for anything, but I was thinking of going back to Daikaya and it seemed like getting more people together to try more things would be good there? Any other suggestions?
Update: Daikaya! Wednesday! 7 pm! I will reserve a table based on the number of definites on Monday!

I'd love to do a meet up that week, but M-W weeknights would work best for me. Though I might be able to do something afternoon, early evening as well.

I will be working roughly 8-5 each day, so I'm only going to be available in the evening. Tuesday or Wednesday would work great if everyone's ok with that.

I'll be my usual firm maybe; I've got a trip OUT of town impending from then and my wife's work is crazy busy that month, so I am de facto on kiddo duty. But if she's free to handle him T or W I should be able to make it.
Whereabouts in Arlington are you staying, bsp? Are you metroing around? Orange line or blue line?

Guessing Monday or Wednesday is going to work best for me? My schedule is unpredictable at the moment, though, so it's a bit hard to plan. Certainly hope I can make it!

Yay this is great! I'm so glad you're back! Please bring more pictures of your dog!
I work pretty close to Dupont now as well so that'd be my vote but we're flexible on time and other than being generally cranky about doing much of anything I'm up for wherever but as a general rule prefer DC over Virginia and like the red and green lines best.

I'm a soft maybe. We have a wee one, and live in the suburbs, so weekends are likelier, but still no guarantee.

I'm staying near the Courthouse metro stop, but I'm happy to take the subway or bike share more or less anywhere!

FYI: Per the repair schedule, there will be continuous single-tracking (trains will be very slow) on the orange/silver line June 4 - 16.

How does Wednesday at 7 work, then? If Daikaya's good for everyone, I'll make a reservation in a few days for the izakaya on the 2nd floor. Happy to try anything else, though, if there's a good space for groups the locals frequent.
