I know there are NYC-area MCU fans on Metafilter, so let's go see the new Avengers movie! 7:30p on 4/30 is the first 2D showing at the Regal Battery Park. Tickets are $16.60 with fees via Fandango. See you there!
I'm definitely going to this showing in particular with some other folks who are currently at the Recurse Center, but feel free to use this as a jumping off point for picking a different MeFite showing!

I know I'm going to see this opening weekend so I'm ready for whatever tie-in continuity Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is going to pull, but I think I want the full 'real 3D' IMAX overkill experience (if those showings aren't all sold out already).
