Treasure Island Music Festival is happening again, and I'm going to be there again, probably wearing the same hat I wore last year.
I'll only be there on Saturday (schedule), but I figured others could mention if they'll be there on Saturday and/or Sunday, and meet accordingly.
I will be there both days. I was just wondering this morning if anyone had posted on IRL about it. I have no if an effective meetup would be possible around all the madness and crowds. It's my first time going so i don't know the logistics very well personally.

I'm here now, about to wait in line to get on the bus to the island. I am wearing the above-referenced hat and jacket. Say hi if you see me.

filthy light thief, how long did you have to wait before getting on a bus? I'm trying to figure out when to head down to the ballpark tomorrow.

The earlier you go, the shorter the wait. I got in line around 1pm, and the line flew. Maybe 15 minutes to get on the bus, qt minute bus ride, and another 15 minutes to get through the pat-down line. I got in the "express" line because I didn't have a bag with me, though purses were allowed in that line. Not sure how long the bag line took.
It was pleasantly quick vs last year, which took 3x as long to get on the bus. Also of note: the sound is louder than last year. I suggest you bring ear plugs if you want to be near the stages.

The line to get to the issland got a lot longer after noon. If you don't want to see anybody until 2 or 3 pm, plan for at least an hour of lines, and some time to get parking. If you want to see someone earlier, scale back accordingly.
