I'm heading back, landing March 31st and in Sydney and then Melbourne for two weeks.
The last time I did a "hang out with MeFites to reset jet lag" it actually worked, so maybe I can do it this time in Sydney?
Updated: 6:30pm Glenmore Hotel
I dropped into the Rook last time I was here, it was crowded, but it definitely looked like my kind of bar. Any other suggestions?
I can probably escape the budget long enough to come down on a weekend.

Yeah, I am landing the 31st in the morning, so looking for folks who want to hang out that Monday during the day as I wont be working but will be jetlagged and trying to not fall asleep.
I'd be good for a 6pm meetup or so, I dropped in at the Glenmore last time I was in town and it was crowded, but it was pretty late at night. It did however look like a cool place to get a drink and overlook the harbor.

Sure! Sunset is at 6:51, so if the weather's good, the view should be pretty great.
If the weather isn't good, we can head inside or there are plenty of other options around the Rocks.

PS - if we are going to be an offspring-inclusive mob in future, then my recommendations would be the Henson Park Hotel in Marrickville, or the Salisbury in Stanmore. There are probably others, but those are the pubs I know that have dedicated facilities for the little'uns.

Great meeting everyone. I woke up at 4am, after falling asleep around 9, so i got a respectable amount of sleep and am currently processing the "monday morning at my office" backlog of emails.
