Well, it will be October already by next Wednesday. You know the drill: The Original Goat, under Michigan Avenue. Tiny beers, tinier whiskeys, some sort of toy surprise. Then some of us making very bad decisions about how to conduct ourselves in public or when to call it a night.
You should be there. You know who you are.
I love waking up in the morning to a facebook feed full of eamondaly's bad decisions!

I'll be coming back from St. Louis so it'll depend when we get back if I can make it this month.

So, recently, I switched to a wacky schedule, to cover for someone who resigned from our London office. I now work 3AM to 11AM (hahaha by which I actually mean like 1 or 2PM). I miss you guys, even though I'm like the crappiest MeFi contributor ever. And I'm pretty sure I accidentally forgot I RSVPed to a Ronald McDonald House gt last month (so sorry, garlic, in all seriousness). I would love to come, but my bedtime is now 4PM (naturally, this is why I am posting on IRL at 5:15PM). So I kind of have this -- do I rush home and nap for a couple hours, then drink beers and maybe go to the frog and then go straight to work and have the nice people in London wonder why I'm speaking a stranger than usual version of English -- dilemma. I really want to drink tiny beers! :(

I think next week should be a universal nobody has to go to any kind of job week.
Of course, then the Goat would be closed. And there'd be no karaoke, either. But really, no-one should have to work next week.
