So, metafilter favorite "Welcome to Nightvale" is doing a live performance at Largo on October 4th with musical guest Sara Watkins. Guest stars TBA. Tickets on sale this Wed. The exact showtime hasn't be released yet
Who wants to go? Maybe get some dinner and drinks first?

Seats will be assigned beginning at 6:00pm, Doors open for drinks at 7:00pm, Showtime at 8:00pm.

Just bought my ticket, so I will be there. FYI it seems like shows are selling out within a day, so maybe buy a ticket sooner rather than later if you plan on going.

I'm not familiar with the neighborhood either, sorry! I'm fine with whatever though. I get off work at 6, so I can probably get there around 6:45ish depending on traffic.

Anyone still up for dinner before the show? A cursory yelping shows Soda Pop's and The Addiction Bistro are nearby and not too expensive. Any other suggestions on where to meet up before hand?

Ok, how about we meet in front of Soda Pop's at about 7? If anyone has any dietary issues or it's too crowded, we can go with something else. You will know me by my curly hair and probably the way I will be awkwardly looking around while checking my phone to refresh this thread, ha.

Have we become a meetup of two? Sorry you couldn't make it, infinitewindow! Anyway, I'll be wearing a dress...with lots of different colors, so I guess that's not super helpful, but I guess it's mostly purple and various shades of blue.
