Meet The Lady: Burlesque

Something new for our inveterate Meet The Lady followers and artistic nudity lovers! Our long-running variety show is being upgraded from the 92YTribeca screening room to their mainstage, which gives us the chance to create a far more memorable and diverse program. First up: a tribute to burlesque in cinema (and vice versa).
The show will be blend of live performances, obscure film clips, and special guest appearances—with a killer after-party to follow.
Featuring:
• Special live interview with legendary burlesque artist Julie Atlas Muz; phone Q&A with film actress Beth Grant
• Presentations by singer/songwriter Jill Sobule and Gypsy Rose Lee biographer Karen Abbott
• Performances by Iris Explosion, Go-Go Harder, Fem Appeal and more! With stage-kitten Ariel Italic
• After-party with DJ Accident Report (and the Warm Leatherettes)
• Raffle prize ($130 value) donated by Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab
92YTribeca is walking distance from the A,C,E,1,N,Q, and R trains. There's a bar in the mainstage area, and the cafe sells food which you can bring in as well. Let's hang out!
Bonus: Since the space is so big, ticket scarcity is unlikely to be an issue this time.

Just wanted to add that we've now also got raffle prizes donated by artist Molly Crabapple and The Pleasure Chest!
We could REALLY use some help spreading the word about this event -- a lot more is at stake this time, since we have a much bigger space to fill, and since it's during July when a lot of people are out of town. I've got decent press contacts but I'm just one person and I can only reach out so far on my own.
