Pride Parade Cabal Meetup?

I know this is a rather vague proposal, but are any of the Cabal interested in doing a parade-side meetup, details to be hashed out in comments?

Date: Sunday, June 24th.

Time: Any time during the parade (it kicks off at noon).

Location: Somewhere along the parade route.

Purpose: Drinking, dancing, drinking, singing, cheering, more drinking, general revelry....

I nominate the 7-11 near crush's place where I got leg-wobbly drunk before 1pm thanks to a poorly planned 32 ounce Jameson Coke Slurpee.

And the weather (as far as you can trust a 10-day forecast) says Sunday will be 80, with a mix of sun and clouds. Not bad!

I would be down for this. My mother's been, my son goes - I feel curiously left out. And it's bikeable.

Man, this will be the first year in, uh, a long time that I'll be missing Pride! I'm in Iceland. Otherwise I'd be down.

Should I make this a real thing? Can I have the address of the 7/11 so I can "confirm" the event? Sounds like a few of us are in, at least, and if we can make it confirmed, we can start checking in.

It's at Halsted and Roscoe, right next to the Chicago Diner. I don't know what my plans are--so I am no better than a maybe--but that's the 7-11 in question.

The forecast for Saturday is 81 and overcast.

Are we having a meetup on the 3rd of July? Cuz my b-day is coming up and I could go to one or the other maybe but not both. I would love to see a pride parade, I love rainbows.

Whoops, was looking at the forecast for Saturday, not Sunday. But no worries, forecast for Sunday is also 81 and partly cloudy.

I am 99% sure that I'll be up there both Saturday (for the festival) and Sunday (for the parade). Maybe a festival meetup would be easier to pin down than a parade meetup? Or are more people interested in the parade?
