I think I might actually be able to come to this one. But I should warn you that I am terrible at trivia, mostly because I can't actually remember the names of things that I know a lot of weird facts and anecdotes about.

It didn't occur to me that we should consider re-using our team name from the last trivia meetup. Considering the ass-kicking we administered, it ought to inspire terror in other competitors.

I was sad that I did not get to play on team CAPSLOCK IS HOW I FEEL INSIDE last time, and I am all in favor of second chances/creating a roving, open-roster trivia team that terrorizes pub quizzes across the metropolitan area.

I stupidly forgot to put the trivia game this week on my calendar and now something else has come up so I won't make it tomorrow. If someone else from last week wants to take our bar tab credit for the group, I can hand it over, or perhaps we should try for April 24th? Sorry.

Just a reminder - I hope to see folks tomorrow for trivia at 8 pm. Did you know that our (admittedly supernumerary) team has the second highest single-game score there? Your help is needed to cement our place in history, because if the question pool is anything like it was two weeks ago, I will be able to offer little more than moral support.

Well, I was useless on the pop culture questions, which were about 90% of the question pool this time. Props to EvaDestruction and zennie for carrying the weight for MetaFilter. Still, we were not in contention for the win. Considering the performance of our small team tonight, perhaps we should have taken our team name from this question.
