I have long been jealous of cities where MeFites regularly get together to kick ass at trivia. But hey, maybe we could do the same! So let's do it: a Denver/Boulder MeFi Geeks Who Drink trivia meetup at 8:00 pm, Monday, November 12, at the
British Bulldog. The Bulldog was selected for its excellent proximity to public transportation.

It's time again for the bi-weekly trivia quiz. Brave the heat and come down to the cool confines of the Maple Leaf Pub. Steaks at 7, game starts at 8. Last time we came in both first and second, so we've got a few $'s in winnings to spend. And for those not eating steak the Leaf has stepped up their game on the menu adding a few things to the always-awesome jalepeno's.

Last time we (Davy Jones' Locker) wound up in solo possession of second place, netting us a $15 bar tab for this week. The previous excursion we (In the Vault, Bob) wound up winning second in a tiebreak. Can we make it a third straight trip to medal territory? Join us at the Kelvin Arms and see! And so Dr. Metafilter finds himself leaping from trivia night to trivia night, striving to put right what once went wrong and hoping each time that his next leap will be the leap home.
..Oh, wait,

Kelvin Arms. The Best Team Name theme will be that old Dating Game staple: Where is the strangest/best/worst place to “make whoopee?” We'll be in the vault at 7:30 for trivia at 8.

I'm coming into town for two weeks JUST after the big planned meetup, but I hear that this is the first meetup you guys have had in a while and might be amenable to having another. It will no longer be at Nellie's as we expect it to not have trivia and be crowded anyhow. It will now be at

It's trivia night at the Maple Leaf; it's also a heavy hockey night with 10 games scheduled. Our schedules dictate that Thursday is going to be our night for trivia (at least this week; we can discuss other options). Come join us and help us outnumber the hockey heads!

Hey guys! It's time again for Boston/Cambridge area
Geeks Who Drink pub trivia. We must continue our trivia dominance over the rest of New England nerdery.
We will of course be at Tommy Doyle's in Harvard Square again, but your guess is as good as mine as to which floor. Maybe we'll be on the roof. Who knows--it's all part of the adventure. At least one of us will be wearing a MeFi t-shirt.
