Now that autumn* is here, let's get back into the swing of trivia! Y'all come out and join the intrepid MeFite team for Geeks Who Drink trivia at Little J's Bar. Arrive early for the best chance at parking! (8:00 is trivia start time, I normally show around 7:00 to grab a table.) (*for varying values of autumn; this is Houston, after all)

I know there's a bunch of new people in Houston who have never joined us. Come on out and join Houston's largest collection of socially anxious, introverted beanplaters as we flex our Geek muscles in a safe space, where everyone else is also awkward and weird. Help us maintain a facade of intellectualism, as we tell each other "Oh, I *used* to know that!", while downing some pretty darned decent pub grub. (I recommend the chicken tacos.)

Besides, we are getting ready to have our 2014* Secret Quonsar party in a few weeks - you don't want to miss that!

*not a typo. We, um, tend to fall behind.

Yes, come join! This particular iteration of Geeks Who Drink is well-run, fairly challenging, in a bar with good food, and basically the best of all possible trivia options. Plus, Mefites. And we promise that you'll actually receive your food.

I'd like to try and make it as well, although I make no promises driving up from Seabrook and all... Also I've never done a trivia thing? What time does it usually end?

We usually wrap up around 10 or 10:30.

Okay, my plan is to be there! I might drive up early to go shopping at Trader Joe's because Seabrook is a benighted wasteland in which no such thing exists, otherwise I'd offer you a ride BucketofBees. How will I know which group you guys are?

MsMolly, I will wear my MetaFilter t-shirt so you should be able to pick us out fairly easily. Also, many of this group will be there (Aug 10 photo from the Geeks Who Drink site).
