A bunch of pals and I are going to Pycon this March in Santa Clara. Are you? Do you want to have a mefi bof? I'll probably be around starting 3/3 or 3/4.

Cool! I'll be going from 3/8-3/11, and would be totally down for a PyMeFi gathering posted by estherbester at 10:03 PM on February 7
I'll be there, and also speaking. Would love to attend a meetup. posted by xtine at 12:39 PM on February 12
Pycon's in Santa Clara this year? Dammit. I won't be at the convention, but I'd totally be down for an offsite meetup/BoF. posted by asterix at 9:12 PM on February 15
It's there next year too. The year after that it's in Montreal.
You can hang out at the sprints even without attending the main conference. If I had more vacation time, I'd considering sticking around for them; but I don't. posted by bleary at 6:50 AM on February 16
Not attending and Python's my analysis (w/ matplotlib), not implementation language, but hey, an excuse for a South Bay Meetup? Yes, please! posted by morganw at 6:41 AM on March 1
I booked a flight finally. and I'm going to be in town until the wednesday after pycon.
I don't know where to meet. posted by bleary at 10:50 AM on March 1
Btw, I created the page for an open science bof so if you guys like open science please come to my bof!
and I also found out that biocurious has an open science salon on Saturday night, so I want to have a field trip after the pycon Saturday activities. Maybe some of you would like to go? posted by bleary at 2:35 PM on March 2
I don't think I'll be at PyCon, BUT:
My employer (Yelp) is hosting the next SF Python meetup; we're hosting Graham Dumpleton (author of mod_wsgi) who will be speaking on web server performance tuning. Free pizza and (high-quality) beer included.
