Denver Celebrates Battery Appreciation Day

It seems like time for another Denver meetup, now that winter (or "winter," this year) has really started to lose its charm.
There has to be something we need to meet for in mid February, be it Presidents' Day, Great American Pie Month, Battery Appreciation Day (the 18th), or National Tortilla Chip Day (the 24th). (Any people visiting Denver from Manitoba can add Louis Riel Day on the 20th).

I propose a date sometime between February 16 - 22.

Since beer always seems to be popular, and since our Falling Rock experience last time was not so hot, I propose Freshcraft at 1530 Blake -- they have good food, good beer, and tables in the back that we should be able to reserve. Also? Close to public transportation, since it's almost right next to Market Street Station.

I will attend this meetup. Any time in that date range works for me. Battery Appreciation has a nice ring to it.

The 17th or 18th works best for me, since I'm planning on being in Denver that weekend to visit my lovely wife. Perhaps a Battery Appreciation Day get-together?

I'd like to. The 18th-20th is a three-day weekend, which could mean an adventure in a distant land...basically, I'm a tentative "yes." And I vote for celebrating pie.

Providing it's after the 17th... I should be able to make it. I've missed so many recently it's just wrong. Never been to Freshcraft but it looks great! Thanks for organizing, heurtebise.

I'm in. I think I can do anytime 16-22, but I'm slightly partial to the weekend. Also, Freshcraft is awesome. The 21st is Mardi Gras. Homemade king cake is a possibility..

I'm going to go to Freshcraft tomorrow or Saturday (well, I was going anyway) to see what we need to go to ensure we get a large table (and make sure there's not any events going on there that evening). After that I'll make the thing official.

Also, not to derail, but my sublease is up soon and I'm badgering everyone I know. Looking for digs of my own or a place to share in fun Denver, convenient to RTD. So please keep your eyes open for me, Nigel and Lily (the wonderkatzen).

Okay, we are on for the 18th at Freshcraft. We have a table for 12-14 people at 6, but I can update the number or time if needed. We can always meet at the bar beforehand....

The attendance tally ain't looking so great at the top of this page--although maybe not all attendees have updated it.

Anyhoo I sampled Freshcraft's beer a week or so ago and I was most impressed. Looking forward to it! See you there at 6.
