August/September Austin meetup

Sun August 28 at 2:00 PM, Dog and Duck

It's time for Austin folks to beat the heat in some indoor, air-conditioned venue like the Dog & Duck on a weekend afternoon. I'm looking at the weekend of the 27th/28th, although I could be convinced to do Sunday the 21st or maybe the first weekend in September. Venue suggestions other than the Dog & Duck welcome, as well as date requests. ETA: After discussion in the comments, we have a meetup at the Dog & Duck on Sunday August 28 at 2 pm. See you there, Austin folks!
Just so long as it's not too loud to have a conversation. The Dog and Duck worked out pretty well the last time, so I'm down/up with that as well.

Hi! I'm in Austin for the summer and the Dog and Duck is a short walk for me. I'm down if it's sometime before September!

Hooray for folks who are in! Since we have folks wanting the Dog & Duck, I'll plan for the meetup to be there. If you want a specific date/time, speak up by Friday night. I'll finalize the plan on Saturday morning according to the best time for attendees, or my arbitrary whim if nobody has any druthers.

I'm in, and I'd prefer it not be the first weekend in September. Any of the earlier dates would work fine.

As discussed at the meetup, this is the garbage-truck ballet I went to see last night. It was less dynamic than what I was expecting, but still fairly interesting.
