I'm hosting a killer comedy showcase at the very cool Rose City Book Pub on Fremont. Lineup includes Adam Pasi (Portland's Funniest Person winner), Belinda Carroll, Alex Rios, Julia Ramos, Thomas Lundy, Meanroth Ny, and Mefi's own Mark Saltveit (my final Portland gig before moving) We'll pass the hat about a third of the way through the show but no one will be turned away. No politicians, no speeches, just funny.

To be clear, this is an unofficial party to support the progressive wise Latina running for City Council, but they are not inolved. No politicians, no speeches, and no censorship. Don't blame Carmen for rudenesses.

In case you want to kick some tires:

Here is Adam Pasi, in the semifinals of last year's Helium PFP contest. He just placed second in the 40th Seattle International Comedy Competition last week.

Thomas Lundy, the Philly boy, at Helium Portland this year.

I couldn't find a video of him, but Meanroth Ny is almost certainly Portland's funniest Cambodian-American comic. Worked with him at Helium 3 years ago and he's brilliant.

Mark Saltveit, representing old white guys on this bill, because otherwise how are you ever going to hear what we think about everything? Here's my 2017 Helium set, it was obviously a vintage year.
