Sat September 24 at 6:00 PM, Brouwerij de Molen
Doortocht 4, 2411 DS Bodegraven, Netherlands (Map & Directions)
Europe's best craft and boutique beer festival, held at Brouwerij de Molen, in the Netherlands.
Each year, the Dutch brewery Brouwerij de Molen organises a beer festival and invites a bunch of their friends, who turn out to be some of the most interesting brewers in Europe. The festival lasts two days. Entry price is 25 euros, which includes a glass, 10 beer tokens, and a programme.
More information on the festival can be found on their website, including the list of brewers and beers.
Each year, the breweries are challenged to produce a particular beer style. This year's style is to brew to the strict conditions of the German Purity Law.
Important note! There is a strict limit on tickets this year, and they are available through pre-sale only, and not at the door. If you plan to attend, make sure you get your ticket in plenty of time!

Doesn't mean we can't have a meetup when you're in Amsterdam...

Nah, not really. English bitters generally comply. Same with IPAs, usually. And if you look at, for example, the recipes published by BrewDog recently, most of their beers also comply, including their Punk IPA, which few people call dull.
And German beers brewed under the law can be wonderful, tasty, refreshing things.

Hmn, projecting my disinterest in German lagers I guess; I do like a good Hefeweizen.
Anyhoo, won't know if I'm going until shortly before the event, if there are tickets left by then.

Saturday tickets have sold out. www.ticketswap.nl is your best bet if you haven't got a ticket by now.

My old pal Crippling Backache isn't playing nice, and ticketswap ran out of saturday tickets anyway, so I'm out.
