Sonascope—telling tales in St. Louis

Sat October 10 at 7:30 PM, Kranzberg Arts Center
501 N Grand Blvd, St Louis, MO, USA (Map & Directions)
I've revived and updated my award-winning one-man show, My Fairy Godmothers Smoke Too Much, a collection of stories about my mostly calamitous adult pursuit of a fairy godmother, and will be performing at the Kranzberg Arts Center on October 10. I explore my possible alien origins, the lopsided insights I've gotten from volunteer work in a porno store, my flirtation with suspected magical beings in the gutter, learning to dance through voyeurism, and other unsettling adventures on my way into haphazard adulthood.
More details: Joe Belknap Wall at the Kranzberg Arts Center, presented by the HEARding Cats Collective. It's $12 for adults and $7 for students/artists.

Sounds awesome. You up for a meetup beforehand?

Sounds cool! I have family in town that weekend so I'm not totally sure I can swing it, but I'll try.

I don't want to jinx it, but I may actually be in town and available for this. If so, I definitely think a meetup before or after the show is a good idea. It's been way too long since I've seen everyone!

So what's everyone's status? Anybody want to do food and drink beforehand?

I'll keep an eye on this if folks do things after - I'm back in town (for another anthropology conference).

Unfortunately, I don't have a car tonight, and will be happy to just be able to go out to watch the Cards game. I hope you all have fun, and break a leg, sonascope!

You all missed a great show. Funny, poignant, thought-provoking.

Seriously. It was wonderful and everybody needs to make a point of coming the next time he's in town!
