I went there Monday and it was outstanding! (They gave me and my mom free donuts because of the impending "blizzard.") It is tiny though so I would suspect a small weeknight group would work way better than a brunch situation.

I'd love to attend, but I'll be out of town next week. Do not feel pressure to work around my schedule though; I can always go another time.

So, Wednesday the 4th maybe? If the weather forecast is to be believed, that will be the warmest day of the week, then cold & more snow on Thursday. (Late night is no good for me though on a work-night. I figure we aim for 6:30-7 arrivals, first person there reports back to the thread on how crowded it is & what the wait time would be?)

Wednesday is the one day of the week I can't do. It's cool if that's the only thing that's good for everyone else though; I'm sure I'll go there often enough.

I can do Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday of this week, then I'm gone for awhile. But no big deal if I can't make it this time around!

Tuesday's no good for me. As of this morning's weather reports, Thursday is just going to be cold though, no extra precipitation, I'll confirm it for then.

Couldn't make it nearly that early. I stop teaching at 6:20. It would be at least an hour before I got there.

I can change it to 7pm if that's better for people? 6:45 was just a ballpark estimate, we'd never be able to all arrive at the same time since we've all got different work hours and travel times getting to Canal Street. And then there's the unknown wait time to factor in -- as long as we have a realistic headcount by Thursday evening so the first people there can get us in line for a table, it should be fine.

Well, I tried to go slowly, but I have arrived at Pies-n-Thighs already. Not to crowded; plenty of seats at the counter, some open two-seaters and looks like some tables in the back room. Since it looks to only be the few of us I may get a starter & drink at the counter to kill time.

And, for anyone looking to check it out some other time, the dinner menu includes biscuits+gravy after all. (And 5 people is the max # that can fit in one of the back tables, so, keep your groupings small.)
