Mallory Ortberg will be appearing at Pegasus Books reading from Texts from Jane Eyre in Berkeley on Saturday, November 22 at 7:30 pm. Any MeFites planning to attend? Any interest in meeting up before or after?
I saw her during Lit Quake and she is SO fun! I'll check to see if I can swing this one.

Aw. I'll be on an airplane by that time. I plan on swinging around the Wednesday SF reading, though.

I just saw her at the Booksmith, and she was really charming and awesome! Highly recommended!

Angeline's is right in the area and has some pretty great Cajun food. I'd definitely be down to go there afterward.

I'd be up for a bite if people wanted to meet before. Looking at Yelp, nearby possibilities include the previously-mentioned Angeline's, Toss Noodle Bar, and Build Pizzeria.

I'm of the opinion that you need an excuse not to go to Angeline's, so I'm down to meet there around 6ish. Dinner after is fine too.

I wound up getting to Berkeley way too early (and had lunch way too late to want dinner yet) so I've taken refuge from the blue-and-gold crowds and am at Build having a beer in the bar while reading.
