Next up in the UPCA's "Classic NYC Movies at the Palace with Lin-Manuel Miranda" film series is Elf. Doors open at 4pm, stage show at 5pm by Broadway Performing Arts Center, movie starts at 5:30. Tickets are $10 online, $15 at the door.

I've seen this movie more times than I can count, and goodness knows it's going to be in heavy rotation on cable over the next couple of months, but it might be fun to see it with an audience again.

Well, today is turning out to be a pajamas-all-day kinda day for me, the lure of the couch+snuggly cat is too strong to be resisted. (They're doing "It's A Wonderful Life" next month though, barring blizzard conditions I definitely plan to make it to that one.)
