BBQ Party at Jacqueline's Dad's house in Maltby (northeast of Bothell)

BBQ party at my Dad's house this Saturday! Drop by anytime between 3pm and dusk.
We'll be providing burgers, hot dogs, and veggie burgers and a selection of beer and soft drinks.
Guests are invited to optionally bring:
a) a potluck side dish or dessert to share,
b) your own beverages if you don't trust our taste in beer,
c) a musical instrument if you want to jam, and
d) a sleeping bag and pillow if you want to crash here after instead of drinking and driving (all our guest rooms will be occupied but we have 3 couches plus floor space, as well as a big yard if anyone wants to bring a tent)

Tuesdays and Thursdays tend to be rotten for me. Saturdays are okay; Fridays and Sundays are brilliant. So if it were completely up to me it'd be a post-MENSA Friday thing, or maybe a Sunday thing (with the old revolutionaries encouraged to come along.)
As i think about it, Friday in the U district sounds better and better. Bus service is good, and there are plenty of late-night food and drink options.

I am open Wednesday through Saturday. I'm open for anything that is not excessively loud. I will check back tomorrow (Wednesday) to see if there is a desire to meet up on Wednesday or Thursday. If you have a particular desire for a sort of food, I can make a reasonable suggestion where to go (I love Seattle restaurants).

So my father, who last week told me he had "nothing" scheduled while I was in town, has since informed me of a) a large extended family reunion Friday evening and b) various immediate family members plus houseguests coming over on Saturday. So my schedule has almost completely filled up.
HOWEVER! We've decided to turn Saturday into a big BBQ party at his house, and y'all are invited. (He was initially reluctant to invite "the internet" over, but after I explained about the community he decided that y'all sounded like fun people.)
So, if you're willing to drive to bumfuck Maltby (northeast of Bothell) and would enjoy an opportunity to corner my Trotsykite father and ask him where he went wrong in raising me, you're invited to come over between noon and dusk on Saturday.

Heh, so my stepsister was worried about weirdos from the internet coming over so my dad sent her a link to the New User page and after reading all that stuff about trust and respect and community she was mollified.
