Me and my beloved wife are going to be arriving in Seattle, Washington very soon before heading to Alaska on a cruise. We would love to meet the Seattle MeFi contingent on Sunday, August 10th. You all know what I like. We'll be staying by the airport, but we're willing to venture out.
Sounds awesome! Given your location, The Nitelite might be a good venue.

It is to some degree. The back room at Shorty's is good for a larger group, but it's frequently occupied by a group with the same idea.

I will do what I can to be there. Will put some thought into what jonmc would be into, but this being summer in Seattle, we are all at the beach, blissed out on how lucky we are to live in the most beautiful city in the world. Could we get a BBQ and beach fire at Golden Gardens going?
Also, Bitterroot in Ballard has an incredible bourbon collection. I need to figure out how to get musicians back to my practice space later on.

Because this is summer in Seattle and I have fully assimilated, I'll be hiking that day. If I'm back in the city and up for it, I'll be there. After all, your number's lower than mine so: respect. I think it's been more than a decade since we've attended a meetup. Whatup.

That was super excellent. It was nice to finally meet you after all of these years, pips and jonmc. Thanks to everyone for drinks and my share of swanky appetizers and cocktails at Palace. It was highly edifying. I don't get out much these days, much less for that kind of pretty luxe tastiness.
