aka mountmccabe and ausdemfenster start to say goodbye to NYC
ausdemfenster and I are unexpectedly moving to the San Francisco Bay Area! Several weeks ago, we reserved the back of Hell's Kitchen's emptiest and most delightful bar for a meet-up on June 18th and then promptly forgot all about it. Now it turns out to be well timed to say goodbye and thanks for all the meet-ups to the MeFites of the NYC-area.
And of course anyone and everyone is invited. This is a bar meet-up first; saying goodbye/good luck/good riddance to ausdemfenster or myself is entirely optional.
Come join us from 6:30 to 10 for cheap-ish beer/drinks, bar snacks (we recommend the nachos and the chicken quesadillas), and our favorite Irish bartender.
We're going to miss all the awesome NYC MeFites, and we hope to see you there!

Bonus enticement: anyone who wants to come cuddle our very adorable foster kittens before or after the meetup is welcome to do so!
I'm mostly in denial about leaving NY; I am going to miss the hell out of this place and everyone in it.

I would so love to see the foster kittens - but I'll be coming to Perdition right from work, and I'm likely to leave before things wind down in order to get home to my own kitty.

I saw the kitten party too late, but perhaps after or another day? I won't be rolling in until about eight until I get my tacos and such. (Thanks for the reminder about that, mlis!)
