Lumberjack Cocktail Meetup!

Changing date to 2/13 (one day later) so everyone who originally suggested the idea can make it. If this is a problem let me know!
As even a quick scan of my posting history reveals, I'm a terrible cocktail snob. Turns out I'm not alone, since I was talking to some Mefites who also seem interested in a cocktail meetup. To that end I propose we go to Pouring Ribbons on Avenue B.
I'm suggesting Wednesday, February 12, since I know Wednesday is a good meetup day (and not a crazy popular cocktail bar going day) and I don't have class since it's Lincoln's Birthday. I can change the date if needed though; please weigh in with suggestions.
Please feel free (and encouraged) to dress up but it's by no means required. Be forewarned, cocktails are on the expensive side ($14). (If anyone wants to come but finds the price excessive, send me a memail and I'd be happy to pay for a round.) There are also some snacks on the menu but I wouldn't recommend you make it your dinner.
Pouring Ribbons does have table service so I'll check back closer to the meetup to get an idea of a headcount. Look forward to drinking with you soon!

I cannot make it but I recommend pouring ribbons highly. Their cocktails are delicious and interesting, and the bar has a cool vibe. Note that there is a doorman there sometimes...usually no dresscode midweek (I think)......and mile is right about their snacks.

Yeah, to clarify, I have been there midweek a few times and there is no dress code, since I am usually a slob and they don't turn me away; we just thought it'd be fun to dress up. Sorry you can't make it, lalochezia!

Yay, I have reserved a table for 8 people at 7 PM on the 13th. If #s change drastically I will email Pouring Ribbons, who were very nice and accommodating.

I went shopping yesterday and ran across the cutest black dress. I was all set to purchase, then looked at the price tag and sighed. 'I really shouldn't right now. And I'd probably never even wear it anywhere.' Then I remembered this meet-up and bought it.

Pretty sure I'm not going to be able to make it this time - I'm fighting some kind of bug that leaves me super-sleepy by 5pm, not to mention the weather reports calling for more snow & ice Wednesday/Thursday.

Nice weather we're having.
I will confirm later today that the bar is open. I do plan to go, somewhat fancily (nothing to be done about shoes), assuming it is open, but I know people's plans may change. We can schedule another day if too many of you have to cancel.

Yes don't bring food with you. I'm sorry if I was unclear. Let me state now though it's probably too late: it would be great if everyone could be more or less on time since it is fancy and table service and I made a reservation for 7, as I posted at least a week ago. Thanks.

Sorry to be snippy. I did say in the post snacks only. It is fine if you come late, I am just a little concerned they won't seat us w/o whole party which would be unfortunate given the weather.
