10am IKEA breakfast meetup! 07/14, Because Confess, Fletch's MeFi Anniversary is a great reason to decide on a day!
HermitDog needs a bed and Asperity was going to drive, so I figured that we might as well invite other local mefites! We can meet in the food court to eat some breakfast (slash brunch?) and then have our own journeys through the wondrous world of IKEA, or shuffle through as a group, however it works out.
Local IKEA direct site. Note that the cafeteria opens at 9:30, so if you get there early, you can go in.
We've settled on Sunday 07/14 because it is Confess, Fletch's anniversary with the site.

Oh, I so wish I could go, because oddly enough, July 14 is my site anniversary also! Alas. Have fun and see you next time.

I've just discovered that my old boss from my military aircraft days is in town for the weekend. I've only seen him once in teh last 25 years. He'll be at WORM on sunday afternoon around 1, so I'd like to be there no later than 2. This puts a hard deadline for how long I can stay.
