Local 44 Quizzo + Beer

Quizzo anyone? A couple of us were talking about going to Local 44 for their 9pm Sunday night quizzo.
I know it's not convenient for everyone, but at least a couple of us should be able to make it (and maybe some new West Philly faces can join in!). Local 44 is only a few blocks from the El (or busses from Center City go right by it) and their Quizzo is decent and food and beer are great.
So what weekend is good for people? I'm looking at March 17th or 24th. (10th is... too soon, and after that will probably conflict with board games.)
Let's do the 24th!
If anyone else wants to go this weekend, I'll plan on heading over ~8:30/:45... let me know! There will definitely be a few of us going this Sunday (March 10), so join us if you'd like! I don't think it's worth it's own IRL event, so just post in here / MeMail me / show up.

Local 44 is sort of on the edge between 'areas where St. Patrick's Day is a normal night' vs 'areas where St. Patrick's Day is a total nightmare.' I wouldn't chance it.
I would totally come out on the 24th though, and possibly bring other people!

Totally forgot about St Pattys day. How about we do a "test run" for whoever wants to come this Sunday? And then the 24th for the "real" meetup to give people time to plan?

I had fun at the last Quizzo, even though I was able to contribute *nothing* :) But I'll have to pass on the late night Sundays - I've got to get up way too early on Mondays.

I'll come out this Sunday, even though I know full well it is a terrible decision for my Monday morning. Is anyone else interested in a trial run on Sunday the 10th?

I might not be able to make it this Sunday, but the 24th should be a lot better for me.
Also, I'm not sure if I'm supposed to just pop in and say coming or not or introduce myself, soooooo we'll go with a quick introduction. I'm Greg, and I've actually met a few of you at past meetups, but now I have my own spiffy name because someone's awesome.

I am having serious doubts about my ability to stay awake late enough to make it tonight, alas. I had a really late night last night, followed by houseguests who were loud past my bedtime and loud again before I was ready to wake up in the morning. It's possible I'll have enough energy to put in an appearance tonight but it is looking unlikely. I hope a bunch of you still make it and have a great time, though!

I'm sorry, I'm going to have to back out last minute. My anxiety is acting up, which means I can't be in a pubquiz environment. Hopefully next time, and sorry for the late notice.

Well then I think this is not happening tonight. Just as well... my hangover set in about 3/4 of the way into driving home from the other side of the state, so I've just been napping since I got back.

I've been trying to find out their team limits etc., but apparently nobody who works there knows (okay, not true -- I forgot to ask the bartender, the guys at the bottle shop have no idea). They're usually pretty chill there though, so if they give us any trouble I can pull the "being a regular" card.
Hope everyone who was planning on coming a couple weeks ago can still make it!

Yeah I just got an email back and team limit is 6. (But no worries -- easy enough to split up if enough people show.)
It'll probably be easier to stay in the bar area, but if people are ordering food or if the dining room isn't busy we can sit there. I've never seen the dining room busy during quizzo, but you never know.
