Hey Main Line (and Philly folk!) Confirmed : December 19th, 6ish! I hear they have housemade candied bacon now, which is probably of interest to many! Come at any point; we'll probably move upstairs when we hit four people or so and I'll update this then. Last month was really fun, want to meet up at Tired Hands again? I know there are some interested parties who haven't been able been able to make it to last ones, and I know ye holidaye parties are upon us, so what time and dates work for everyone?

Yay! Yes please! In the next three weeks, the only weeknights that I know are bad for me are the 13th, 18th, and 19th. I might have to be at work a little late on the 10th but could still join you all eventually that night. Otherwise, I'm pretty flexible this time around!

I'd love to come! I probably can't do weekends through the holidays, though, so some convenient weeknight would be great.

Hooray-- so, as of right now, I'm leaning towards the 19th given the constraints of my schedule and Tired Hand's openings. Thoughts? Bueller?

If anyone (ahem certain other local member!) is up for informal meetup manhattans on a Monday at some point before that, definitely let me know!

I should add that sadly Tired Hands is closed on Mondays which is adding some constraint. I could also do next Thursday but I'm doing another meetup there on Wednesday...so many carbs...

Katine - Quite possibly. I'm still on the fence about attending but if I do I'll be glad to take the regional rail with you. I'd be leaving via Suburban Station around 5:30ish.

Obscure SEPTA question, on the off chance that someone knows: does the R100 or whatever it's called these days stop anywhere near Tired Hands? I'll do regional rail if that's better, but if I can go the cheaper way why not?

Still not entirely sure if I can make the meetup at all, but I'll try!

I'm pretty sure I compared Septa stops on a map and the only one close was the R5. I could be wrong.

If I end up going (I probably won't decide till the day of, since grading exams and who knows how long that'll take) but I'd be happy to drive people from Ucity/center city if I do go.

The R100 does stop in Ardmore but it's about a mile away and not something I'd recommend doing at night for the first time-- there are also several buses that run out this way from Center City and 69th St, though I don't know what their time is like during rush hour.

If it helps anyone's decision-making, I hear they have local candied bacon with walnut butter now!

You should totally come! I'll try to be at TH around 6, but can write detailed directions if desired. (It is basically two blocks away and very easy to get to, I promise.)

I'm taking the 5:44 train from Suburban. AP, you and I will most likely be on the same train and I'll gladly meet up with you at Ardmore so we can walk to Tired Hands together.
