I don't know when or if I'm going to be attending, but at the very least I figured other Mefites would want to know about this.

Thanks for posting this! I'll try to drop by at some point, too. (And I may splurge on a green tea milkshake from one of the food stalls while I'm there!)

HOORAY COMIX!

I'm going to be there! There are also three pages from my comic, The Adventures of Painless Parker (MeFi Project Page), on the gallery wall of the exhibition space.

Are you going to have a booth, o_a?

Nope, I'm not tabling, although I may be hanging around with the Boston Comics Roundtable for most of the day.

Oh, cool. I'd never heard of the Boston Comics Roundtable. I've been wondering if there was a club like that in the area.

Hey, thanks for posting this. This was the first comics expo I have ever been to, and even though I was a bit overstimulated, I did get to meet R Sikoryak! I didn't read the schedule before attending, so when I saw his name on the bill, I asked someone to point me to his table. I bought a copy of Masterpiece Comics, which he signed and did a little drawing of Charlie Brown as Gregor Samsa! I got to tell him a story about where I first had heard of him, which he appreciated. It was my first fanboy moment. I also got to meet Jay Hosler, who drew Clan Apis, which my son loved when he was in grade school.

And I kept an eye out in the crowd for you, o_a, but didn't see you! Oh well. I had a good time until the caffiene and sugar from the green tea shake, and all the pretty drawings, and all the gabbing people, it all blew too many synapses and I had to leave about an hour later. With COMIX! wooo wooooo!

(I went home afterward and requested more of Jay Hosler's stuff from the library.) The end.

I'm so disappointed that I wasn't able to make it. We'd had a busy morning, and I did have the energy to wrangle my kid along with me.
