We would love to have an extra meetup! This bar in Chelsea is quiet and good for groups, and I know of a million bars in Brooklyn that are a single train away from Chelsea.

That Chelsea bar is one of my favorites around here and one time I saw Harry Crane in there.

I could do Thursday at 8:30 or later (my flight gets in at 5) or whenever on Friday. Monday night is theoretically possible but I assume people don't so much want to go out drinking on a Monday.

Oh man, I am going to be visiting from San Diego that week too. Seeing NYC Mefites AND restless nomad, what! I have the "vending machine gave me two snacks when I paid for one" feeling.

I am also going to be a pretty confused tourist, so if it's weirdly complex to get to the bar from Brooklyn I welcome advice.

rhythm and booze, where in Brooklyn will you be staying? It's actually very, very easy to get there from pretty much every train except possibly the J or Z trains.

Ah, easy! Walk to the C and it'll take you right to 14th st. Get out at the 16th street exit (or whichever, honestly) and walk up to 19th street, then turn right. Really easy!

Penn Clusterfuck has sort of a weird scene on Thursdays, anyway; lotta tourists, bridge-and-tunnel crowd, just-turned-21 types. I don't think you'd be missing much if you ducked outta there early.

Yeah. Sorry i faded out at this one, I set up a colony at the bar near the door then B-thoth came in then Grith came in then F-cakes got there then Dennis arrived, and it was his birthday last week. So we drank.

I'll try to make the popcorn meetup and i might post up a monday night football idea.

Good to see the tribe out in force.
